What does your drink say about you as a man?

Are you considered a cool guy, a tough guy, a non-experienced guy (amateur), an alpha male, a girlish guy or a charmer (ladies man as many men dream to be)?

The choice of your drink as a man could either make you or break you (its manly not to care anyway!). It could lift your reputation and could equally tarnish it. This is really not a call for you to change from your favorite drink or for you to want to try out new tricks but this is a thesis done on observation of the drinking patterns at the bar, parties and the kind of drinks men have at home.

 

1.You are girlish and timid.

Light beers such as snapp and cider are considered to be feminine drinks (oh! and Okwonkwo favorite kingfisher). A man seated at a bar having a snapp or a kingfisher will indeed be deemed super girlish. Excusable situations for drinking this light beers would be to kill a hungover in the morning after a heavy drinking night or on the dance floor holding your woman’s drink and sipping it as you pack behind her (downtown style). Beers considered manly include lagers, lite, stouts and malt. It is however not against the law to drink a womanly drink. They often have sugars and sipping is seamlessly easy.

 

2. You are a fun person.

There are those people who are ever just ready for a drink and they are never turning down a drinking call. This are not necessarily loud college kids who are delighted by the slightest idea of drinking. It involves guys even at work places who always set the party mood. Usually this guys know a joint and will take others to start of with shots of gin or vodka. At the bar this guys will empty numerous cocktails and be dancing. Fun guys usually must have an alcohol ordering app on their cells. Gin and Vodka will make you seem like a fun loving guy. People are attracted to fun persons.

 

3. You are cautious and like to stay in control (tough guy).

Tough guys are often considered uncool and most of the girls (not all) are not attracted to such men. Being uptight could be judged from the kind of drink you put on the table and the kind of way you drink it. My friend told me he would rather not drink than have a hot water flask sitting on his table saying it is so amateur and one looks inexperienced although hot water is generally a good mixer especially with lime pieces in it. Then the kind of chaser you use appears to be quite a determinant on the type of guy you are. There are many chasers to choose from, bottled water, tonic water, lime juices and even simple soda. Hot water is good taken with ginger for your flu. While ordering your drinks you should never forget to order your chasers too.

 

4. You are an alpha male.

Of course, drinks generally viewed as manly are usually ill tasting to most people. But their arguments could be based on the fact that they really haven’t tried great sipping whiskeys, cognacs, rums and some wine from the top shelf . Wine in this case is a manly drink only when the occasion dictates that wine is the ideal drink for it. There are numerous reasons why girls get attracted to this kind of guys. Amongst the reasons is because the kind of drinks they have are usually quite or moderately expensive and for this reason most girls feel like these guys are financially alright and capable to provide for other things. Also this guys look a little bad ass and that is a many trait that most females are attracted to, security, unlike being timid. This is not always the case. Some ladies just have weird tastes in their types.
